Flight 2/4. Lucid, deep dark brown coffee-tinted beer with an off-white, meager lace ring. The scent displays subtle caramel, a good amount of syrup, distant chocolate and a bit of raisin, followed by a coffeeish note. The taste profile includes massive caramel, a distinct nutty nuance, syrup and a timid proposal of coffee. I can also detect moderate proportions of dark chocolate, cacao nibs, molasses, raisin and date. The body is medium-full. The beer finishes with nice bitter caramel, molasses and a tad syrup, accompanied by coffee and raw cacao powder. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds active over short to medium duration. The mouthfeel is a tad sappy, slightly lip-glueing and neatly desserty.
