Using a traditional German style twist to our trademark lager to create a full bodied nostalgic taste with a slight bitter kick and subtle hints of flower and spice aromas.
Pair this beer up with seafood, chicken, pork or beef – this lager works with all food types and especially effective when teamed up with spicy foods.

Received as a sample to review from Pint Please. Thanks!
Another Irish brewery.
Likely a faulty can, since it wasn't completely full when I opened it and sides were quite squeezable.
Label looks, well, playful. Quite a traditional look, but also nicely catching in a way. Sort of 'so bad it is actually good' themed.
Scent of toffee, malts, slight floral.
Taste of bland toffee, grain and watery.
Body is flat and gives off a strong vibe that this is not in proper condition.
No review due to a likely faulty can.

Pintin irkkuboxin seuraava olut lasiin.

Kermaisen kolmen sipulin savulohipastan kylkeen irkkulager. Näyttää perinteiseltä vaalealta lagerilta kuohkeine vaahtoineen.
Tuoksu on makean maltainen, voinen ja osin metallinenkin. Hyvin, sanoisinko "suomalainen" kun katsotaan tämän tyypin oluita.
Maku on kepeämpi. Helposti lähestyttävän vaalea maltainen, heinäinen, kevyen sitruksinen ja sivussa makeamman hunajainen. Mukavan raikkaan ja puhtaan oloinen, joskin aika harmiton ja voimaton. Helposti juotava.
Dundalk jätti itsestään asiallisen, mutta aika helposti unohdettavan kuvan. Dry Stout osui näistä itsellä parhaiten maaliin. Sen voisin vaikka napata ostoskoriin jos lähikaupasta löytyisi

Irish Lager by Dundalk Bay Brewery and delivered by Pint Please. Haven't enjoyed a Lager in a while, this bridges that gap nicely. I hope. Anyway, thanks, both, for the beer. 👍🏻🙏🏻
Translucent, amber beer with impatient carbonation lets out a pure white, small-bubbled froth that climbs up to two fingers. The foamy cap looks extremely clean and serene and descends soon to a thin lacing on the top.
The scent disappoints me right away: the malty touch suffers from sweetness, which unfortunately brings me an impression of bulky Karjala. Mmnnjjah... Faint honey lingers in the background. Unimpressive at this point. 👎🏻
The taste is a big relief! 😅 No bloody sugary punch disturbing my experience. The malty side is very decent but quite thin-geared. There's a bit of sweetness and a grainy layer around the gustatory supply. The hoppy touch is subtle and rather restrained. A modest injection of biscuit can also be detected there.
The body is, unfortunately, thin. Well, the ABV amounts to 4.2 % only. The finish is malty but sweetness has been cleaned away almost completely. The hoppy twist is still oppressed. The aftertaste reminds the tastebuds of a standard Pale Lager that are fifteen in a dozen. It winds up in a short while.
The mouthfeel is thin, relatively soft and smooth. I have to admit that the beer suffers also from a mediocre synthetic sensation. I was hoping for finding clean crispness but I didn't. Confusing. Pity. Could sink down in sauna but that's pretty much it.
The can art is familiar from the earlier rounds and doesn't impress me much. The color spectrum is restless.

Bright golden yellow, light foam. Malty and sweet on the nose. Taste is light, a bit buttery. Short after taste.
Can looks nice but I can’t see a need for Irish lager in the market even though it is gluten-free.
