Our chums at Clapton Craft were on the hunt for a rich American IPA and chose our sleepy woods to brew it in. We took Citra, for it's unrelenting juicy and pithy overtures, and Simcoe, because of its firey pine and stone fruit flavours. An oat laden malt bill provides a hefty body, and fermentation on London Fog adds its own stone fruit esters and rounds off this delicious brew.

Pithy and piney in equal measures, it took me a few sips to gather what was happening with the beer. It’s a hybrid of both coasts, lots of body and pithiness up front, but no dry finish. Juicy all the way through, Stonefruits come through towards the end and a gentle bitterness.

An enjoyable beer. Juicy with hints of stone fruit in the flavour. A nice AIPA.
