Zum Wochenendausklang gibt es ein Blueberry Oatmeal Milkshake Porter - das klingt pornös. Was das Äußerliche angeht, erkenne ich ein tiefschwarzes Bier, das kein Licht durch lässt. Die Krone ist hellbraun, baut such aber recht schnell ab. Es riecht recht würzig, aber ein Anklang von Laktose ist zu vernehmen. Der Anklang ist einen ganzen Zahn kräftiger als üblich bei Bieren mit Hafer - sehr schön! Die Laktose sorgt durchgehend für leichte Säure, wirkt aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt übertrieben. Besonders im Nachgeschmack wird es milchig und blaubeerig. Die Würze des Hafers verschwindet mit der Zeit, kommt aber ganz weit hinten im Nachgeschmack wieder. Also alles in allem ein großartiges Bier, fast eines der besten auf Haferbasis, die ich kenne.

New beer on PintPlease and 1/6 of this White pony microbrewery set. BB 20/11/23. Should I have given it more time before open it? Well... New brewery to me, never heard before and that was the reason behind my 6pack + glass purchase. It pours black in color with about two fingers foam. Dies out slowly with no lacing anywhere, just a ring on the surface. Funny combination of lactose, blueberry and leather on the nose. Blueberry and leather are in control followed by coffee and cocoa. Creamy and smooth on the tongue, a bit milky also. At first was a bit too cold and couldn't get that blueberry but as it warms up comes nicely on the palate. Leather in control, faint coffee and cocoa. Lactose and some sweetness also. A bit watery just in the end. Really different to my earlier porters.
