The aroma in this is pretty faint, but I am getting a slight breadiness and a somewhat sweet maltiness. Taste has the sweet-ish malts up front, followed by a nice breadiness that peaks towards the end of the mid-palate and continues into the finish, joined by the semisweet malts in the aftertaste. Slightly lacking in flavor, compared to some of the better märzens, but not bad at all. I wouldn't think to refuse this if offered. I might even grab a can next year. 3.75/5
