Taking one for the team as it's still the same barrel from last week. Same profile as before obviously but not quite as good. Still a good session ale but slight end of the barrel tang. Will still get it down me neck just not as good as before hence the slightly lower score

Another repeat performance. Obviously the same details as before. Enjoyable drink and a still a good session ale that's very well balanced and totally quaffable

Cracking drink, like a good old fashioned bitter. Malty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a strong malty taste. Slight fruity taste mixed in leading onto a nice sweetness to finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale that's very quaffable.
The version I had was 4.5% not the stated 4.4% & pump badge says it is a limited edition

A hearty Scottish-style ale with warming malty notes and Goldings hops with a wholesome bitter finish.
