The best beer for winter time – tasty and powerfull in taste: Winterbock is a pale bock beer refined with Bitburger Siegelhopfen and aromatic Callista hops. Developed by our Brew Master Stefan Meyna, Bitburger Winterbock is lagered at –2°C in our cellars. The first sip is mild and fruity, revealing an intense, pleasantly rich malt sweetness. The fine bitterness from the hops is a well-balanced accompaniment, before finishing with a nice warmth on the palate.

Dunkelgoldgelb, nicht ganz blank, schwache Krone. Antrunk fruchtig-süß, schwer, ziemlich alkoholisch, auch malzig, aber Alkohol und Süße dominieren. Wenig Kohlensäure. So bleibt es zunächst im Haupttrunk, bis sich zusätzlich eine etwas metallische Bittere bemerkbar macht, die auch im Nachtrunk bleibt und das Bier nicht sehr ausgewogen erscheinen lässt.
