Une saison de montagne aux baies d'églantier et au miel. Cest délicatement parfumé, pas sucré. L'équilibre entre les malts, la levure et les rajouts est nickel. Encore un très bon produit original de la Goutte d'Or !

Flight 2/4. Impenetrable, deep amber beer with effervescent, long-bubbling carbonation lays a snow-white mousse-like mattress that rises one finger tall. The head shrinks slowly to a pretty, a bit uneven lacing on the surface. The froth leaves the glass otherwise untouched. The fragrance offers hefty wheat malt, a tad sour grapefruit and a little pinch of brettanomyces. The olfactory provision is somewhat farmhousey but not stale. The first impression of this beer's gustatory supply is funky: brettanomyces features distinctly on the tongue, bringing in a farmhousey nuance of thrown-away fruit skins and a faint note of horse stable. Bitter grapefruit, lemon pith and a tiny drop of rhubarb juice float on a relatively strong, wheaty backbone. The light-bodied beer finishes with some bitter grapefruit zest and a reasonable amount of lemon peel, seasoned with a good amount of yeast that resembles remotely wine yeast. As a matter of fact, a suggestion of white wine enters the gustatory universe. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds active for long. The mouthfeel is light-tart, slightly crisp, earthy, a tad funky, relatively fragrant as well as somewhat spritzy.
