Bière saison, légèrement acidulée, assez sur la pomme, c'est frais, j'ai un peu de mal à décrire ce style de bière...

I've tasted all the Swiss beers that this bar has on tap, with the exception of one that was tapped a few hours ago. Therefore, I have to go for French 🇫🇷  beers for the rest of the flight. Let's start with beer #1/4. Lucid, pale gold beer with rich, sustained carbonation unleashes a pure white, silky head that easily climbs up to one finger. The foamy cap descends gradually to a neat lacing on top. The retreating foam paints the glass with somewhat messy patterns, some of which are even still visible when I'm finishing the flight. The scent displays modest apple juice, a good amount of fruity lemon pulp, distant pineapple and a fairly identifiable floral aroma. The palate is astonishingly sour, one couldn't make such a guess based on the fragrance. I get nice injections of lemon pulp, lemon peel and grapefruit, all those imbedded in remote farmhousey yeast that is not really standard brettanomyces. Furthermore, I find moderate additions of pineapple and carambola/star fruit among the gustatory elements. The wheat malt is also present and it's nicely soft and even fresh. The thin-bodied beer finishes with light-sour lemon pulp, a bit of pineapple, a pinch of lemon peel and disappearing yeast. The duration of the aftertaste is medium. The mouthfeel is noticeably thin, attractively juicy, summery as well as refreshing. On the other hand, it's also unchallenging.
