A blend of malts give a smooth beer with distinctive dark malt flavours from the additional use of roasted barley and coloured malts. Full-flavoured with a rich, roast character and a prominent fruity hop nose.

Aromas of roast (slightly burnt) malts and treacle. Roast malt flavours give way to a pleasant hop profile.

Final one of mothers Xmas hamper. Purposely left it till last as I’m not really a fan of the dark IPAs. This is rank. Struggling to drink it...wouldn’t recommend or buy it.

Why not let a Schwarzbier be a Schwarzbier and an IPA be an IPA - the combination of both doesn't seem to work as this beer clearly shows.
