
Mead was also produced at the Saku brewery in the 1820s and 1830s and the the recipe for Saku Mõdu was developed on the basis of historic recipe as well as elements from different authentic Estonian mead recipes. The result: a traditional fermented drink with a task of honey and a 4% ABV.
