The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity.

Das „Mit Kirschen von den Great Lakes und Honig“ gebraute Cherry Wheat von Samuel Adams trägt nach dem starken Boston Lager eine große Erwartungshaltung mit sich - und kann dieser leider nicht gerecht werden.
Sehr wässriger Körper und milder, leicht süßlicher Kirschgeschmack im Einstieg. Im Abgang minimal malzig, von Weizen ist keine Spur zu erkennen. Zwar durchaus süffig und leicht, so wie das Bier auch beschrieben wird, für 5,3% ABV hätte ich jedoch etwas anderes erwartet.
