Transparent, deep amber beer with standard carbonation produces a silky, light khaki head that swells one finger thick. The foamy ring and haze survive long on the surface. Well chilled beer. It oppresses the olfactory experience but grapefruity notes can, at least, be found. The tongue likes the full-ish citrusy flavors like grapefruit peel, lemon zest, a small dollop of mandarin juice, pine needles and resin. A bit of dried apricot, as well. A very fruity and estery taste profile. The body of light. The finish travels along the same line as the actual taste. Excuse me sir, agent provocateur; could you please settle down, lock the door and kill the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light, soft, smooth, a tad crisp, somewhat resinous and slightly estery. Quaffable. Not sure what is "Belgian" here since this leans strongly toward the West Coast.
