Amazing. This is a Star Anise Stout. Jet black, poured carefully as it's bottle conditioned. Nose is bitter liquorice. Mouthfeel is smooth and delightfully bitter, full on quality liquorice, with that background sweetness making for an amazing taste bud treat. What a treat. Highly recommended.
