Seems today's trend is to lower abv every beer I taste. Oh well. Holy hell that scent! Chocolate (oat) milk in its purest form! Dear my, haven't felt this level of pudding in beer in a while. Taste starts with chocolate but blends rather quickly into some fine, dark roasted coffee, eventually mixing both sweet, real chocolate flavour with Gwatemalan coffee. Bit like tonka-level parfyme coffee finish. Body is of course a bit light, but flavours are full and carry this beer nicely. Oh my. A chocolate coffee to go indeed. Maltgarden doesn't disappoint with coffee stouts. For this abv of a stout, it's brilliant.
