Ulkonäkö, oluessa runsas hallittu beige vaahto joka jättää meöko tasaisen ohuen hunnun oluen päälle. Olut on lähes täysin musta, valoa vasten tulee vain hämärästi pientä punertavaa läpi. Aromi, tuoksussa paahteisuutta ja kuivattua hedelmää. Maku, makean ja kuivan väliltä, ehkä enemmän kuitenkin kallellaan kuivaan päin…paahteinen, hieman suklainen ja kahvinen, kuivattua hedelmää, hieman kitkeryyttä jää jälkimakuun. Suutuntuma on kivan paksuhko näin laimealle stoutille, hyvä olut!
