At the 2021 San Antonio Beer Festival with my son-in-law. A great time going from tent to tent getting a sample of a lot of different breweries. This is a porter but is extremely thick and creamy for a porter. Strong coffee flavor. At the very end brings notes of dark raisin. A little bitterness in the finish but this is really good.

One of the beers I brought back from Texas. Huge tan foamy head, seems to be lasting. Dark brown opaque color. Has a faint chocolate aroma. First flavor is caramel and followed quickly with chocolate. Has a bit of a roasted, mildly bitter quality. Very soft mouthfeel. Finish is dry and bittersweet chocolate. Very nice.
