Tasting plank 4/5. Opaque, pitch black beer with a shy, silky, chocolatey head. The scent puts forward bags of caramel fudge and chocolate, followed by a faint butyric whisper. The gustatory supply includes bitter raw chocolate, a bit of cacao nibs, a decent amount of bitter caramel and dried dark plum. The body is thinner than I anticipated, somewhere around light-medium to medium. The beer ends slowly. The mouthfeel is lip-glueing, soft, smooth and slightly confusing.
