I enjoyed this beer a while back when it was on draft. Gave it a good rating this way. Trying it again, this time from the can. Nice head to begin with but it disappeared. Reddish brown clear color, amber malt aroma. A little weak on flavor, crisp texture, deep roasted and earthy. Seems to have a dash of pepper. In the finish it adds a small degree of bitterness. It's a pretty good beer but probably better on draft. It does go well with pizza.

* Have on tap. Not much head. Clear deep red amber color. Crisp, dry, a bit on the bitter side but not too much. Finish is dry and bitter also. Easy to drink. A little more flavor than most lagers. Very good to have with a meal. For a larger, I'll go 4.3.
