This is probably one of the last chances to take a picture of a beer with garden flowers 🌹 this year. Then, we'll have leaves of the fall 🍁, snowmen ⛄ and candles in the dark 🕯️. Not bad either.
The beer pours semicloudy, copper with rich, long-lasting carbonation. The emerging head is white and somewhat effervescent. It exceeds initially one finger's height and descends soon to a thin lace ring circling the surface. No splatters on the glass can be detected.
A light-bitter cocktail of passionfruit, lemon zest and carambola emanates to the nostrils. I can also trace easily recognizeable though restrained oat flakes and a modest biscuity aroma.
The taste receptors like that combination. I mean the gustatory elements remain unchanged from the fragrance. Moreover, a hoppy tinge embraces the somewhat musty wheat malt that lingers on the sides of the tongue.
The body is surprisingly thin. The beer finishes with a good amount of lemon peel, light-hopped wheat malt and a piney hint. The aftertaste has turned somewhat more bitter than upfront and slightly tangy in profile. Its duration is short to medium.
The mouthfeel is thin, a bit crisp, slightly tangy and truly distantly piney. It's also fizzy and a tad dry.
