Bellerose draws its inspiration from the 1950s era, a period during which beer was still intensely hoppy and stoutly refreshing. The use of an innovative cocktail of 3 hops brings to Bellerose a distinctive aroma of citrus & litchi with a refreshing aftertaste. Top fermented beer using three hops from three different continents. It is a mix between French sweet bière de Garde and innovative IPA, we like to call it: “The French IPA”.

Golden mit enorm vielen Schwebstoffen und feinem Schaum. Die Nase ist eigentümlich, etwas fruchtig mit einer Note die mich an Gelatine von Sülze oder Büchsenwurst erinnert, verrückt. Auch beim Trinken mit dieser unterschwelligen komischen Note und wieder kommt mir als erstes die wurstige Gelatine in den Sinn und das nicht mal negativ. Belgische Hefe und übliche gelbe Früchte kämpfen zunehmend erfolgreich dagegen an, nach jedem neuen Schluck kommt aber gleich die Assoziation wieder. Ich sag mal Grenzerfahrung und mit zunehmender Dauer etwas penetrant.
