Foggy, deep copper beer with lazy, quick carbonation unleashes a cream-yellow, fluffy head that exceeds one finger. The foamy cap shrinks soon to a frazil-icy lacing and a neat lace ring on top. No splatters can be detected afterwards. The fragrance offers dominant yet fairly decent raspberry, a bit of green apple, little grapefruit and a touch of rhubarb. A wheaty backbone with yeast accompanies closely. The tongue receives quite strong raspberry that wants to kill the other nuances. Despite such cruelty, I can save a bit of rhubarb, raw apple, lemon pulp and yeasty wheat malt. The light-bodied beer finishes with a sour raspberry and lemon medley. The wheaty layer is still a tad stuffy and seasoned with a little injection of yeast. The aftertaste keeps the tastebuds wondering what to do for a short to medium time. The mouthfeel is light, medium-tart, a bit puckering and faintly acidic. It also tries to be dry but more or less fails. The mouthfeel is, moreover rather refreshing and summery. Okay but nothing to write home about.
