A really good lemon shandy, perfect mix of sweet/lemon and lager. Could drink them all day, especially at 3.5%.
Judge’s label: Would have another

Brilliant, deep gold Radler with fizzy carbonation unleashes a cloud-white, velvety head that grows half a finger tall. The foam dissipates quickly to patchy lacing on top and leaves nothing on the side of the glass.
The scent releases a medley that is not particularly attractive: yes, lemon juice is identifiable but so is pale malt. The combination can be characterized as light-musty and not really refreshing.
The taste portrays relatively sweet lemon zest, grapefruit juice, a pinch of sugar and added citric acid. Pale malt looms in the background, accompanied by a remote proposal of grassy hops. Interesting but not too appealing though.
The Radler is light, almost thin. It finishes with the lemon-grapefruit merger and a modest note of malt. The grassy hops try to shy away but remain just recognizeable. The aftertaste is short.
The mouthfeel is light, a bit musty and truly distantly crisp. It's also somewhat soft-drink-like. Fails to climb to the top of my Radlers but interestingly beats easily the local supermarket beers.
