Punto G, Italy

Also from Birrone, now it's turn of the Punto G (G-spot in English), which, as its name evokes, provides the drinker with a lot of pleasure sensations! It's a typical amber and copperish color, covered by a hazelnut brown foam head that fades quickly. To the nose it evokes chocolate and hints of tobacco. The mouthfeel is really soft thanks to the light body and low carbonation. The combination of the sweet biscuit and liquorice flavors of the malts plus the just slight bitterness of the hops combine together in a symphony of flavors that blend really well together. All this transitions to an aftertaste in which the bitter hops take the lead, but only slightly, thanks to the liquorice notes on the background. I think this beer is perfectly paired with desserts. Overall, as its name suggest, this Boch is a pleasure of senses!
