Flight 6/6. This is my first sweet potato beer ever. Clear, gold beer with restrained, short-lived carbonation creates a clean white, whipped-creamy head that exceeds initially one finger and decorates the top for significantly long. The scent is virtually nonexistent. Well, sweet potatoes tend to smell very mild if anything. The gustatory package includes thin pale malt with a distant sugary twist that, I suppose, is starch. The hops are meager and a bit dry-grassy. Additionally, I find thin biscuit and a citrusy hint. The skinny-bodied beer finishes with bitter-crisp pale malt and a pinch of dry grass, a bit of citrus pith and a silent diacetylic whisper. The aftertaste lingers in the mouth for a rather long time. The mouthfeel is thin, somewhat crisp, interestingly also rather bulky but definitely not interesting as well as standard. Nothing to write home about.
