Flight 2/6

Flight 3/6. Turbid but still faintly translucent, honey-amber beer with reasonable, sustained carbonation unleashes a good one-finger, off-white, silky head. The nose receives molten butter, a bit of crackers and a subtle whisper of honey. The tastebuds get too easily along with the gustatory supply that includes light-crisp pale malt, a decent injection of grassy hops, butter-coated crackers and a drop of squeezed lemon. The body is thin. The beer finishes with slightly bitter pale malt, some dry-grassy hops and grated lemon peel. I also find a little injection of spruce resin. The aftertaste has a medium duration. The mouthfeel is thin, light-crisp, interestingly distantly throat-warming and for some reason also a bit rustic.
