Even this beer's retention is long as a patchy lacing decorates the top nicely. The nose detects black balsamico, dark chocolate and a coffeeish hint. It's also moderately burned but not charred. Umami. The flavor cocktail is a medley of raw cacao powder, bitter black coffee, light-roasted malt and a subtle hoppy touch. Not umami. The body is light. At 6.3 %, it should be bigger. The finish travels along the same road without any deviation. The mouthfeel is smooth, moderately dry, slightly lip-glueing and a bit lackluster.
