Pearson is a 6.2% ABV blended oak-aged beer with local peaches from Pearson Farm's 2019 harvest. We work with the peach guru, John Short of Georgia Proud Provisions, to select the best peaches on the farm and then choose select barrels to create a blend that honors the flavors of the chosen peach. For the 2019 vintage we selected the O'Henry peach. O'Henry peaches have nectarine in their breeding lineage which makes this a bright, extremely aromatic, candy-like peach. This beer is a proud addition to our fruited mixed-culture farm celebrations, in a continuing effort to explore the historical relationship between brewers and farmers.
