Brown Shugga'
10.0% American Strong Ale
Originally a failed attempt at our 1997 batch of Olde GnarlyWine Ale resulting in an all-new-beer-style we like to call... Irresponsible. We believe this Special Ale is something unique. Feeding brown cane sugar to otherwise cultured brewery yeast is a'kin to feeding raw shark to your gerbil. It is unlikely to ever occur in nature without human intervention. And it looks weird besides. But it has happened and now it's too late.

Eiliseltä. Veljen lahjuksia, ollut pitkään jääkaapissa. Maukas ja nimenomaan makea strong ale. Maltainen.

Wow! That is a super high head. And that's only half the bottle. Have to wait for it to go down to try it. Meanwhile, the aroma smells something like candy. Very smooth, lite carbonation, probably because most came out in the head. I'll finish pouring the rest of the bottle down the side of the glass to avoid that. It has a slight haze to it. Not getting the molasses others are finding. And bitter. I think this has to be bad storage. Pouring down the drain. Won't rate a skanky beer.
