Full bodied but easy drinking, st. Mungo is a hybrid between a true Bavarian Helles and a northern German Pils. Naturally carbonated, its malty sweetness is contrasted by a subtle hop bitterness. Clean, crisp and refreshing, st. Mungo is perfect with food.

It feels wrong me saying this but this is one bloody nice lager lol.
Lovely rich malty aroma. It's super smooth, clean, fresh and refreshing. It's got malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness in perfect balance and a slight bit of spice that lingers with the bitterness.

A decent Bavarian-style Helles lager with a touch of light Munich malt. Pours a light golden colour with a nice balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness, with flavours of caramel, biscuit and a clean crisp refreshing finish. Has a zesty citrusy freshness, a hint of spice and a smooth body.

Pretty standard light lager, wouldn’t go as far to say unremarkable however it really is about the average. Not objectively bad, not necessarily worth seeking out. That being said, it is indeed light which was nice and the subtle malty tones are well balanced with a slight hoppy bitterness. Would probably order on draught over at a few mainstream taps.

Kräftiges, ausgewogenes Lager.
Eine Mischung, schwer zu beschreiben.
Aber richtig, richtig saulecker
