Imperial milk stout with coffee, vanilla and pink frosted doughnuts.
Roasted malts, vanilla, lactose sweetness, followed by hints of the coffee and doughnuts used in brewing this. Taste has roasted malts, lactose, coffee, vanilla and a slight breadiness. Roasted malts and lactose linger in the aftertaste. Medium body with a lower carbonation. The body could be greatly improved upon; I expect a full body to accompany a 12.4% milk stout. The lactose alone should contribute a great deal of body. The flavors are nice. Sweet without being cloying, a little bit of bitterness from the malts to keep the sweetness in check and all of the advertised flavors are present. A better, more appropriate, body and this could be amazing. It's still a tasty treat that I'm glad I tried. Now that it's warming up more, the coffee is becoming more intense, which is fine by me, and it lingers in the aftertaste. 4/5
