Cette bière Lager est brassée avec des houblons Saaz et Magnum et son malt inclue du maïs. Très désaltérante, elle offre un juste équilibre entre amertume et notes aromatiques d’agrumes. Elle est toujours brassée selon sa recette originale de 1963. « Nastro azzuro », qui signifie « Ruban bleu » en italien, rend hommage à la victoire du paquebot italien SS Rex lors d’une course en 1933.
