Drinking this now and it tastes like liquid Crunchie chocolate bar. It’s not sweet, it’s quite thin and very chuggable despite its 9,0%. Weird as I like the flavour but not impressed with the mouthfeel or complexity of the beer.l especially at that ABV. Just really intrigued by the burnt cream addition. Any ideas on how they added Burnt Cream flavour to a beer? I’ve always assumed dairy to be a no-no for adjuncts. Non of the adjuncts are listed in the ingredients despite being described as burnt cream, molasses and Madagascan vanilla. I’m guessing it’s lactose and vanilla… This bad boy comes in with a 37 year BBE however I don’t think it’s got the legs. I get that a 9% beer kept in ideal condition can keep however would those adjuncts last? Would the fact it’s quite thin with no body effect it? That’s one helluva BBE, I’d have been tempted to wax the cap. Anyway, it’s not worth saving that long lol

Quite delightful. It is like velvet, deep and rich, with a sweet aftertaste.
