Flight 7/7.
Clear, dark brown beer with ruby tint and rich, cappuccino-colored, silky head. The nose experiences very faint lingering mocha and a suggestion of semisweet malt. The gustatory offer includes thin light-sweet malt, a tiny dollop of espresso and a bitter caramelly touch. The body is light -- what else? For a Porter, it's even thin. The beer finishes with lame dark brown malt, brown bread and some nutty biscuit. The finish is rushed. The mouthfeel is thin, slightly sappy, lip-glueing and fairly depressing.
