First beer from this awesome brewery (if all I have red is true) Bottle. Best before: 30.6.2023 Temperature: +11,5 degrees Reddish-brown beer with dence tan colored head. Exellent retention, the foam sticks to glass like glue. Very nice: 4,75/5 Nose: smooth oak aroma comes together with soft vanilla. Some darker fruits, caramel malt and elegant touch od alcohol warmth. Really enjoyable: 4,5/5 Mouthfeel is full, rich with oaky feel and big malty backbone. Alcohol comes nicely giving this even more complexity. Slow sipping, nothing easy on this, as the Barleywines (English style) should not be: 4,5/5 Taste has red berries (sherry), vanilla, malts, dark fruit, a bit toastiness, caramel sweetness and a nutty hue. Aftertaste is full and round, long lasting. Hmmmm, I like this: 13/15 Complex and slowly drinkable beer. Very, very nice. I want Barleywines to be the kind of beers which make me think about all the different things and this beer makes that happen. You know that feel when you just want to get cosy and relax? I just found a perfect beer for that: 18,25/20 =45/50
