Side by side review with the regular version of Wake-N-Bake. Aroma: I'm getting the Irish cream first, followed by coffee. About the same for the coffee as the regular version; it's there but not super prominent. Taste: I'm getting the Irish cream first again, just like in the aroma, followed by the coffee. It's like you took a rich, bold coffee and added an Irish cream creamer into it. Very tasty. Irish cream hits the palate first, with the coffee more in the mid-palate and back end. Overall, I love both stouts. I think I like how the coffee comes off as the star flavor in the regular more, but I like the way the coffee mixes with the Irish cream as well. While both are great, for my personal preference, I have to give the edge to... Honestly, it's a tie. I've been pondering this decision for around 15 minutes now, sipping each one, rinsing my mouth in between, but I still can't pick a winner. I love each one for what it is and while I'm tempted to lean towards the regular for the huge coffee, I love the way the coffee mixes with the Irish cream just as much. So yeah, it's a tie. 4.5/5 for both. On a side note, regarding this one, I hope I can still pick this one up later on this week. I'd love to do a side by side review with my brother and see what he thinks.

Howler fill from a local farm market. Huge coffee in the aroma. Some creaminess presumably from the Irish cream. Taste has huge coffee up front, immediately followed by the same creaminess described in the aroma. Very coffee forward. Huge coffee. I can't stress this enough. Medium+ to medium-full body with a medium-low carbonation. Absolutely amazing variant of an already tasty beer. I'll do a side by side review with the regular version tomorrow night. I don't remember the coffee being this prominent in the regular version, but I'll either confirm or deny that tomorrow. As for now, I'll sip and enjoy this excellent beer. Hugely exceeded my expectations. 4.75/5
