3.8
Tasting paddle 3/8. No ABV indicated. Lucid, amber beer with shy, rapid carbonation pours a cream-colored, thickly clinging head that shrinks to a patchy lacing on top. The fragrance is surprisingly restrained: I only get faint nuances of grapefruit and pine. The palate portrays itself much heftier: I find medium-strong crisp hops, a bit of grass, spruce needles and lemon peel. The aftertaste is crisp and even a bit tangy. Lemon peel, spruce needles, grassy hops and a drop of resin constitute the key elements of the aftertaste of this light-medium-bodied beer. It has substantially long duration. The mouthfeel is medium-strong, crisp, slightly coniferous and, interestingly, also remotely lip-glueing. It's also faintly dry.
