Barrel Aged Advent Calendar beer Day #24 2019 vintage, canned on 1-4-2019 Final Advent beer. It's been a great experience revisiting beers I don't get to drink every day. Some I drink more often than others, some I hadn't had in a year+. Definitely something I'd like to do yearly, whether or not it's with barrel aged beers. Delicious bourbon and oak from the barrel aging, tasty caramel, molasses and subtle dark fruit notes. One of the best bourbon barrel aged barleywines I've had the pleasure of drinking. Great way to end Advent. High 4.5/5

Bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel and toffee in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, toffee, caramel, oak and vanilla. Same as the aroma, just in a different order. I'm starting to like barley wines. 4/5
