Lucid, amber beer with strong, long-lasting carbonation creates a soft, clean white head that first rises up to one finger tall and dissolves soon to frazil-icy lacing wafting on the surface. The nose receives a hefty tropical package: first I find sweet melon, followed by mango, banana, papaya, orange zest and a drop of squeezed mandarine. I also get a lovely note of bubblegum -- not sure if it's part of the style but there it is. The taste receptors sense standard wheat malt with a bit of fermented banana. I also find lemon zest, bitter orange peel and a pinch of wheat flour. The light-bodied beer ends with somewhat bitter wheat malt, a small heap of wheat flour, some relatively bitter fermented banana and a small dollop of pressed lemon pulp. The aftertaste has a short to medium duration. The mouthfeel is light, a bit stuffy, somewhat juicy and tropical. Tasty but nothing mindblowing.
