Semifoggy, deep orange beer unleashes strong, regular-duration carbonation and further unlocks an off-white, velvety head that reaches mere half a finger and settles gradually down to a frazil-icy lacing that wafts sluggishly on the surface.
The scent is massively juicy: pours of orange zest, passionfruit and pineapple are accompanied by a tad mango and distant mandarine. The fragrance is truly juicy and tropical.
The palate resembles the breakfast juice: bags of orange pulp, a punch of lemon zest, recognizeable but weaker pineapple and a tiny injection of zesty mango, followed by medium-strong hops with a distantly piney tang.
The body is medium. The beer finishes with somewhat more bitter orange peel, lemon zest and a bit of spruce needles whereas pineapple and mango have sidestepped into the shadows. The aftertaste lingers on tongue for a relatively long time.
The mouthfeel is strong, medium-crisp, truly tropical, significantly zesty and even remotely unbeery -- in a good way.
This is fantastic!
