Totally opaque, oily, pitch black beer with moderate, quick carbonation builds a half-a-finger, latte-hued, silky head that descends soon to a hair-thin lace ring on the surface.
The nose loves the delicate nuances of milk chocolate and natural vanilla. I also find more distant suggestions of cocoa nibs, nutella and lactose as well as a a vanishing hazelnutty note.
The tongue is waiting excitedly to get the first sip. Rewarding as it is, the taste receptors love the light-creamy milk chocolate, a good amount of raw cocoa powder and a tad cocoa nibs, accompanied by a pinch of rye malt, a drop of hazelnut, recognizeable lactose and a faint roasty aroma.
The body is light-medium. The beer finishes with slightly bitter raw chocolate, cocoa beans, distant overstayed black coffee and a drop of lactose. The aftertaste hovers in the back of the mouth for some time.
The mouthfeel is light-medium, aromatic, somewhat lip-glueing as well as mouthcoating. It's also relatively rich, a bit oily as well as slightly creamy, very round and nicely smooth.
