Tasting paddle 3/4. Lucid, yellow beer with vivid, long-lasting carbonation unlocks a soft, fluffy head that melts rapidly to a frazil-icy lacing on top. The nostrils get excited of the unexpected olfactory package that contains fennel and aniseed, accompanied by a lemony twist. This is interesting! The tastebuds enjoy the hefty spiced experience: fennel and aniseed are nice and prominent, bringing in a bit licoricey aroma. I also find exceptionally zesty lemon pulp and a nuance of carambola. The light-bodied beer offers vanishing fennel in the finish. Aniseed and licorice are absent. Lemon lingers additionally in the background. The duration of the aftertaste is medium. The mouthfeel is light, spiced, fresh and slightly funky. Unfortunately, it's also insufficiently full.
