Happy Australia Day 2019 to all beer folks all over the world! 🇦🇺 Hazy, pale orange beer with reasonable, short-lived carbonation creates a clean white, velvety head that falls short of one finger and settles soon down to a frazil-icy lacing on top. The scent offers hefty lemon zest, a tad pineapple and passionfruit. The taste is tropical fruit-juicy: lemon pulp, lemon peel and grapefruit feature strongly on the tongue, followed by a small dollop of pineapple juice and a drop of passionfruit. The light-bodied beer ends surprisingly quickly with thin lemon juice and distant passionfruit. Pineapple is hiding in the shadows. The mouthfeel is light, very juicy, substantially tropical and refreshing. It's also summery and relatively easy.
