DRY JANUARY, day #27. Still seven days to go to next Friday when I'll end this circus.
The weekend's first beer portrays a translucent, deep amber color. Carbonation remains a bit on a lower side but still unleashes a creamy head — both as for the texture and tint — that reaches one finger. Retention kicks long. A moldy patchy layer bends upwards toward the glass and wafts on the top for considerably long.
The scent gives medium-sweet oat biscuit, fairly intensive caramel fudge, dried apricot and a whisper of raisin. I can also identify a faint grassy note behind the sweet-forward experience.
The tongue receives reasonably hefty malty flavors that are not necessarily the most wanted feature in IPAs but not entirely unexpected either in non-alc versions. Caramel is bitter and merges with graham crackers. A piney nuance escorts the medley in the distance.
The body is light minus. The piney twist elevates somewhat in the finish and gains a pinch of resin in support. The malty sphere dwarfs drastically at the same time.
The mouthfeel is light, crisp, a tad dry and drying. There's both a bit of tanginess and sweetness in the same package but both remain at a manageable level. Not too inspiring as an IPA but fairly balanced for a non-alc (0.5 %) beer.
NOTE: The barcode leads to "Sutra" by the same brewery. Maybe they are the same beer?

Standard, if slightly thin, IPA in NA format. Could easily become my go to NA beer. Must stock up when M&S have an offer on!
