Tasting paddle 7/8. Limpid, deep amber beer with decent, short-lived carbonation pours a thick, cream-colored head that melts soon down to a nice lace ring circling the surface. The nose gets a bit of malt that emits a very remote caramelly aroma. I also sense grapefruit in the nostrils. The palate offers relatively crisp light-caramelly malt, a tad grapefruit and grated lemon peel. The body is light to light-medium. The beer ends with somewhat more bitter citrus, a bit of spruce needles and a faint resiny tang. The aftertaste lingers in mouth for a rather long time. The mouthfeel is crisp and medium-strong, distantly lip-glueing and still rather soft.
