In 1548, Baron von Degenberg of Bavaria, Germany, was granted the first license world-wide to open a Wheat Beer Brewery. By granting this permission, the Duke of Bavaria bought the loyalty of Baron von Degenberg. This historic milestone in the history of beer is still anchored in the taste go our Degenberg Beer.
