Extraordinarily sludgy, turbid, light copper beer with lively, short-lived carbonation creates a snow-white, silky head that falls short of half a finger. The foam descends soon to a thin lace ring circling the surface. The head leaves the glass untact.
The nose gets outspoken biscuit, strawberry drycake and a generous candy-like aroma. A bit awkward to my liking.
The taste receptors get confused because of the relatively sweet package: bags of biscuit, strawberry drycake and a gentle amendment of wheat bun. I can also detect hefty yeast, black pepper and distant cardamom.
The light-bodied beer ends with stuffy wheat malt, wheat flour, a pinch of bitter strawberry and crackers. The yeast refuses to fade away. Cardamom still lingers on the sides of the tongue. The black pepper gains strength from subtle chili. The aftertaste brings the tastebuds a distant idea of heat that stays there for a long time.
The mouthfeel is light, really stuffy and spiced. Awkward and failure. A souvenir from Poland, of course. 🇵🇱
