Aavistuksen liian karvas, pehmeys uupuu.
Yllättävän hapokas stoutiksi.
Kelpo IS.

Opaque, black beer with introvert carbonation unlocks a beautiful, tan, small-bubbled head that rises up to one finger, leaves a couple of horizontal traces on the glass and dissolves relatively soon to a frazil-icy lacing and a much neater bubbly lace ring on top.
The beer is somewhat too chilled for the fragrance to open up. Yet, one can sense strong black coffee and raw chocolate, maybe also a faint note of licorice, I'm not sure, this is confusing.
The taste is nicely open, portraying both raw chocolate and dark chocolate. Dry burned malty nuance lingers all over the mouth, accompanied by black coffee with a little creamy hint. Licorice and licorice root feature also distinctly in the palate.
The body is medium-full. The finish continues unchanged from upfront. Burned black coffee, dark chocolate, raw chocolate and licorice constitute the key elements of the aftertaste, in various proportions of course. The duration of the aftertaste is reasonably lengthy.
The mouthfeel is strong, rather full, somewhat burned and decently lip-glueing as this is also very dry.
