The beer is not purple as it appears in the picture. It's a deep warm red colour. A salted caramel shortcake nose greets the drinker. The flavour combination of the caramel and malt is perfectly balanced with a refreshing hoppy finish. There might have been a change of head brewer but the quality continues, the Toon Team have done it again. Seek it out if you can, you won't be disappointed.
