Dark ruby ale, large head (I'm in 'spoons!) Malty aroma. First taste, Smokey, malty, sweet. Full mouthfeel, creamy. An odd taste, not really to my liking I'm afraid.

A light bodied drink but don't let this fool you as it's very heavy in percentage. Good dark ruby colour and great flavours of Carmel, smoky and furity.

Decent beer, slightly too smokey for me. Definitely worth a try 🍺 JDW Real Ale Festival October 2018.
